With this fantastic weekend package, you get to enjoy the ultimate exhilaration of tandem hang gliding at Stanwell Park, one of the best coastal flying sites in the world. You will fly one on one with your instructor in tandem. Then better still, you can take the controls and experience the feeling of pure flight.
You'll be flying with one of the world's most experienced instructors. They will teach you all about the sport while you enjoy the breathtaking ocean views. The Illawarra Escarpment. The recently completed Sea Cliff Bridge and the Royal National Park.
The operator has provided tandem hang gliding for all age groups from 14 upwards. Veronica Adams is the Guinness Book of Records' Oldest Tandem passenger, aged 94, showing you are never too old to fly!
The flight takes approximately 20-25 minutes. We allocate just over one hour at the flying site.
This experience is valid for a flighton a weekend or weekday.
You fly one on one with your instructor in tandem.
Cancellations due to the weather will be re-booked for a later date. A compulsory Sports Aviation Federation of Australia Membership and Insurance of $20 is payable on the day.
Max weight 90kg. The operator has provided tandems for all age groups, from 10 to 94, with Veronica Adams, the Guinness Book of Records Oldest Tandem passenger aged 94.
Such an exhilarating experience! Felt safe and secure with my instructor and the views were stunning. Would definitely do it again.
