Your adventure begins with a short drive to the balloon launch site.
There are over a dozen sites, and the one you launch from depends on the wind direction and air temperature. Once there, you can help the pilot inflate the balloon or sit back and watch as it inflates.
As the new day dawns, you ascend into the sky in a colourful hot air balloon, gently floating in the breeze above treetops at heights of up to 2000 feet.
You'll fly over wine country, hills, rivers, forests, and farmland of the Hunter. No matter what area you fly to, the views are breathtaking, and you will see how vast each area is once you are aloft.
After approximately an hour floating in the air, you'll land to enjoy a traditional breakfast at Peterson's Champagne House.
Allow 3 to 4 hours for the total experience. Includes approximately 1 hour in the air.
Available all year round on weekends and weekdays. Flight briefing take place approximately 1 hour before dawn and lift off with the sunrise.

You can expect to share your balloon flight with between 4 and 16 people.
Ballooning is suitable for 8-year-olds and over. An adult must accompany all children. We do not fly pregnant women over 12 weeks. We need to know of any back, hip or knee problems.
