Get in the seat of your aircraft, the Aero Vodochody L-39 Jet. Today, you're mission commander.
You're in charge of selecting a mission profile. You'll be seated in a Czechoslovakian advanced jet trainer. Designed during the cold war, the L-39 still serves in many countries armed forces. It's a frequent flyer in air-to-air combat training. Strap in you're about to experience the best it has to offer!
You'll need to jump into your flight suit when it's time to scramble. Take a seat; we'll make your full mission briefing quick. Wouldn't want you to miss any action.
Head out in your fighter jet from the airbase at full speed. Get straight into your climb to combat altitude. Keep your eyes peeled for enemy fighters. Once they get you in their sights, you'd better be ready. We're going to do what it takes to shake them.
Your pilot pulls off aerial acrobatics like G turns, loops, rolls, barrel rolls, hesitation rolls and Cuban 8s. Every single manoeuvre is commonly used to chase and evade enemy fighters. Speed to altitude to dodge enemy fire when you've done your part. When all's done and dusted, jet on home. Just in time for the officers club!
Allow 2 hours for the experience with 25 minutes spent in the air.
