Take to the skies with the experience of a lifetime in a mighty Russian YAK 52. This thrilling 25-minute flight delivers a soaring adventure, complete with original colours, instrumentation and radios, in one of Australia’s newest Yaks.
Built for the Russian Air Force as a training aircraft, this 1991 classic is made for bold spirits and big thrills. After a full briefing, suit up, board the aircraft and feel every moment build as your pilot prepares for take-off.
Once airborne, the experience reaches new heights with exhilarating aerobatics, including barrel rolls and loop-the-loop. For those with steady nerves, there may even be a chance to take the controls and try aerobatics yourself. Adventurous, unforgettable and utterly uplifting, this is flight like no other.
Need to Know
In some conditions your flight may need to be rescheduled or certain movements may be avoided. The operator will call you if your flight needs to be postponed due to poor weather.
Allow one hour with 25 minutes in the aircraft from engine start to engine stop.
The experience is available all year round. We recommend booking at least two to three weeks in advance.
Valid for one person. Only you and your qualified pilot will be in the aircraft during your flight.
Spectators are welcome to see you off and wave you in on your return. This aircraft is operated under CASR Part 132 and is designed for special operations. Passengers fly in this aircraft at their own risk.
Min. age 6. Max height 6 foot 3 inches. Max. Weight 110 kg. You should be comfortable in the cockpit if you fit into a standard car seat. Unsuitable for pregnant women. We recommend you obtain medical advice if you have a prevailing condition.
