Ever wanted to fly a plane from the cockpit? Now is your chance to do it!
This aircraft's introduction flight starts with a classroom briefing on operating the aircraft's controls. In this first lesson, you cover all of the essentials to get started with flying confidently.
After a briefing, your instructor takes you through the pre-flight inspection of your training aircraft before you take your place in the pilot's seat. Next, you'll walk through the start-up procedure, taxiing and take-off, and then take to the sky for your first real flying experience!
The flight is south of Launceston and lasts approximately 30 minutes. You can enjoy hands-on experience flying the aeroplane during this time, flying up to 3000 feet.
Following the flight, there's an opportunity to ask questions. You may feel you have the flying bug and want to go to the next step towards achieving a pilot's license.
Allow 90 minutes at the venue with 30-minutes spent in the aircraft.
Bookings are available 7-days per week. Allow a waiting period of 4-weeks for weekdays and 8-weeks for weekends.
Valid for one person.
The minimum age is 15 years old. Weight restrictions and surcharges apply if you weigh 100kg or more.
