Think about what you would do if you were driving behind a vehicle dropping diesel fuel all over the road. You might not know what's happening because that truck is ten vehicles in front of you, but your car will start skidding shortly after you drive right over the diesel. What do you do? How do you get out of the skid? What do you do to save your life?
This four-hour session teaches you the finer points of coming out of a skid and what to do with your car to avoid a collision. You work to correct oversteer and understeer and know what to do if you lose control of your vehicle. Beyond that, you'll learn how to avoid these scary situations in the first place.
You can bring your car if you choose, but it must be roadworthy, have valid registration and insurance, and meet noise restrictions.
Allow 4 hours at the track.
Generally available between 5 p.m. and 9 p.m. on pre-selected dates throughout the year.
Valid for one person to enjoy this special training session.
You must hold a valid driver's license and you must be able to drive a manual transmission if you drive the Lotus. Bring your license with you the day you go to the centre.You must be drug and alcohol free as well.
If you drive the Lotus, you must be no taller than 190cm and weigh no more than 125kg. Not suitable for pregnant women or people with heart conditions. You will be asked to sign an indemnity form.
Would prefer a smaller group size for more time in the car.
