Rallying is a heart-racing spectator sport, but getting behind the wheel and out onto the dirt is something else. And that's precisely what you get with this experience.
Set on a purpose-built track, you experience hard turns, bumpy terrain, power slides and lots of power. Rallying is the most fun you can have. It involves skill as you drive on the edge of losing control.
After a briefing where your instructor runs through safety, an induction and a review of the track, you suit up into racing gear. Then, sitting in the driver's seat with your instructor beside you, you'll let rip around the track for 8 whole laps.
Your instructor is your in-car coach and will help you develop speed and confidence lap after lap. Soon you'll be sliding into the corners and powering out of them at speed.
It's incredibly satisfying, adrenaline-inducing, and the most fun you can have on dirt. All wrapped into one.

The experience runs for approximately 2 hours from start to finish.
Courses are held regularly at Cessnock. Check the availability section for dates.
Valid for one person. The course is conducted in small group sizes.
A minimum P Plate license is required. Cars have a manual transmission with clutchlesspaddle shift. You can participate with limited manual experience. Guests are welcome. In-car video is available on the day at extra cost.
Suitable for ages 17 and up. Please advise at time of booking, any medical conditions that could affect the safety of you, the participant or others on the day. Max weight 130 kgs. Max height 6 foot and 4 inches, or 193cm.
It was amazing to have been able to experience rally driving in a real rally car. Although short it was definitely worth the experience to gain that little extra knowledge on how to drive a car. Would love to experience what else Thrill Experiences have to offer.

I bought this for my son last year but he got another, exactly the same so we both ended going. We had a really great time. The staff we're friendly and helped me turn from road driver to rally driver. Just would have liked more laps but overall it was a great day out.
