If you love cars, speed and control, you'll go absolutely ape for this rally driving experience!
You get to drive a fantastic Subaru WRX STi for eight laps, and you get to sit behind the wheel of a Mitsubishi Evo for another set of 8 laps. What more could you wish for? It's every rally nuts dream.
And, of course, you get the full monty before, with a detailed briefing covering safety requirements, the car specs and types of skills employed in rally driving, and a demo lap from your instructor.
The demo drive by your instructor gives you the feel for the track, the correct technique and how to avoid common mistakes.
Then it's on with your helmet and racing suit before you select your car for your first stage of this rally driving extravaganza.
Stage one gives you eight laps to learn the skills and have lots of fun in either the STi or Evo 8, with your professional co-driver on hand to guide you throughout to help ensure you get the best time out on the track.
Take a break before choosing your second car for another eight laps on stage two. But that's not all. At the end of your session, we'll give you one hot lap with your co-driver doing all the driving at breakneck speed for the perfect end to this drive a rally car experience.
Need to Know
Good weather is required for Rally Driving. Final decisions and judgments are made at the track by our experienced professional drivers.
You will be with us for approximately 2 hours.
Courses are held at Cessnock on selected dates throughout the year.
Valid for one person. The course is conducted in small group sizes.
A minimum P Plate license is required. Cars have a manual transmission with clutchless paddle shift. You can participate with limited manual experience. Guests are welcome. In-car video is available on the day at extra cost.
Suitable for ages 17 and up. Please advise at time of booking, any medical conditions that could affect the safety of you, the participant or others on the day. Max weight 130 kgs. Max height 6 foot and 4 inches, or 193cm.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need a driving licence or manual driving experience?
Requirements vary by experience. Some rally drives need a P plate or equivalent, while others require no licence. Manual-driving expectations also vary: some experiences require you to be competent in manual driving, while others offer automatic, paddle-shift, or clutchless options. Check the requirements on your chosen experience beforehand.
