Mudgee was made for ballooning! And spending time with family. Come, meet your crew at Blue Wren Farm on Ulan Road. Feel free to ask any questions at your sign-in or after a short flight briefing. Your adventure begins with a quick trip to your launch site, determined by wind direction and your pilots expertise. Twenty minutes later, your balloon will be ready for boarding. Help with the setup of the balloon if you like. Or simply get a photo of your craft taking shape.
With the dawn breaking over the beautiful Mudgee region, youll ascend into the sky in your vibrant balloon. Its a gentle journey up, for sure. Feel completely secure with virtually no sensation of movement. During your flight, you may find yourself drifting just above the treetops and moments later, soaring to heights of 2000 feet or more! Make sure you have your camera at the ready. These views of Mudgee are nearly beyond belief.
Following a safe, smooth landing, the morning continues seamlessly. Over a gourmet breakfast at Blue Wren Farm, no less. What you'll celebrate is nothing short of one of the most exhilarating mornings of your life.
Please allow approximately 4 hours in total from check-in to breakfast. The flight itself is one hour.Meeting time is approximately 45 minutes before sunrise.
This experience is available all year round with flights taking place at sunrise. We fly on the first Saturday of the each month.
Valid for one child aged 7 to 12 years old. There will be at least four people in the basket with you during your flight.
You should advise the operator of any medical condition that may preclude you from flying such as a serious knee, hip or back problems, recent surgeries or broken bones.You must be aged 7 to 12 years and weigh under 50kg.
