Step back in time and experience the thrill of flying in a vintage Tiger Moth. This leisure flight offers 30 minutes of pure joy as you soar through the skies in formation, side by side.

The Tiger Moth bi-plane is a true beauty, with an open cockpit that lets you feel the wind in your hair and the sun on your face. It's a truly unique experience, one that you'll cherish forever.

There's something special about flying in the Tiger Moth. As a single-rotor biplane built in the 1930s, it's full of history and character. It was used for training by the RAF in Britain and Australia and is now one of the most famous aircraft in aviation history.

As you take off, the excitement builds. You're flying in a piece of aviation history that has been lovingly maintained and cared for. You're in safe hands with your experienced pilot, who will guide you through the skies, pointing out landmarks and sharing fascinating stories of the history of the Tiger Moth.

This flying experience is incredible, but it's also an opportunity to dress up in authentic leather flight gear, complete with goggles, a helmet and a scarf. You'll look the part and feel like a true aviator. It's the perfect way to escape and enjoy a unique experience that's both exciting and romantic.

This experience is affected by the weather. In the case of poor conditions, we will reschedule your experience for a later date.

Allow1 hour and 30 minutes for the experience, with 30 minutes spent in the air.

Available throughout the year on weekends only.

Valid for two people.

Any changes made to bookings must be done at least 48 hours before the flight.

You must be 13 years old and over, weigh no more than 130kg and be under 200cm tall.

CASA Regulation for booking adventure flights

Military aircraft are built and tested to different standards than that put forward by CASA or any equivalent international civil aviation governing body. As such, in accordance with Civil Aviation Safety Regulation Parts 132.140, 132.150 and 132.155;

  • The design, manufacture and airworthiness of the aircraft are not required to meet any standard recognised by CASA; and
  • CASA does not require the aircraft to be operated to the same degree of safety as an aircraft used for regular public transport or charter operations; and
  • The passenger agrees to participate in this flight at his or her own risk; and
  • If it is reasonable to believe that a passenger cannot understand the safety briefing; said passenger must be accompanied on the flight by a parent, guardian, or carer; and
  • A detailed briefing will be provided to the passenger before they board the aircraft. This will include signing a liability waiver and acknowledgment of the briefing. If the passenger is under 18 years of age the waiver and acknowledgment must be signed by a parent, or legal guardian.
