Begin your journey with a tranquil, moderate grade-level bush walk, entering nature's heart. Feel the exhilaration as a daring 15-metre abseil brings you down to the verdant pastures of the temperate rainforest at creek level.
Led by your guide, you walk along the winding creek, enclosed by walls gradually climbing upwards. As you progress along the creek via a series of abseils up to 20 metres high you will find the canyon walls gradually begin to rise on each side of the creek.
Press forward to the climax of your adventure - a magnificent tunnel that guides you to the tranquil banks of the Wollangambe River. Reward yourself with a leisurely late lunch and refreshment in the refreshing waters before a peaceful drift back to the car. The abseiling and canyoning experience runs for 7-8 hours from 8.45 am.
Available during the warmer months from October through to April.
Valid for one person. This experience is conducted in small groups, the maximum group size is 10.
Lunch and all specialist climbing equipment including climbing shoes are provided. If you have your own equipment and wish to use it feel free to bring it along.
This activity requires averagefitness or above. Min age 14.
