If you are new tocanoeing or kayaking or enjoy being amongst nature, join in for a relaxing paddle amongst the gum trees that line the quiet waters of the Yarra River near Melbourne.
Twilight is a great time to spot birds, koalas, fruit bats and other sorts of wildlife or to wind down after a busy day at work. All you need is average fitness, and the ability to swim comes in handy.
We meet near the river, take a safety briefing and introduction to the kayak before setting off for a fantastic paddle on Melbourne's Yarra River.We spend 1.5 hours in the kayak until dusk before heading back to land to tuck into our chicken and drinks.
You will spend approximately 1.5 hours on the water until dusk and then additional time for supper.
This experience is available all year round.
Valid for one person. There is one person per kayak or canoe. Group sizes vary across the year.
Spectators are welcome.
Valid for ages 6 to 17 years old. You must be reasonably fit and a confident swimmer. You may be required to complete a medical declaration form on arrival to enable participation.
Kayaking down Yarra river at twilight was an unforgettable experience! The sunset was breathtaking, and my child loved it. Highly recomended!
