'Now you too can experience the pleasure of hot air ballooning for a full hour over the great city of Melbourne. But, of course, part of the fun is getting up early. And then helping the crew get the balloon ready if you want to. But we reckon you will. It's all part of this beautiful day out.
And when it's all set and ready to go, you'll get to feel what it is like to rise gracefully from the ground with the whoosh of the flame. Then soar high into the sky over the sleepy city as dawn breaks. This balloon flight is an experience like no other. Depending on the wind direction, you'll drift over parks and gardens and look down on some of Melbourne's most famous landmarks.
The MCG, Melbourne Park, and the Albert Park race track will all be visible from the gently gliding balloon. And when you eventually come back to earth, you can re-live the experience of your balloon flight Melbourne style as you help put the balloon away.
We return together to Pullman on the Park, where we started with the balloon packed away.
Allow one hour for the ballooning ride and 3-4hours in total.
Availability of this hot air ballooning adventure is dependent on the weather. You will find out the night before if your flight will go ahead.
