For almost 50 years, the CT4 Airtrainer has been soaring above the Australian skies, performing training missions for Royal Australian Air Force pilots. It is an aircraft that has proved itself a worthy addition to any flying group and is the perfect choice for your next flying adventure.
With 30 minutes of total flying time, most people only dream of this experience. Climbing aboard an aircraft as agile as the CT4, you know this is a scenic flight.
From the moment you leave the ground, its vast canopy is the perfect window to the world as you soar into the skies above Point Cook and turn towards Williamstown and Station Pier.
With a top speed of 383kph and turns capable of 6G and -3G, this plane will ensure this is one experience you never forget.
Allow one hour with approximately 30 minutes in the aircraft from engine start to engine stop.
The experience is available all year round. We recommend booking at least two to three weeks in advance.
Valid for one person. Only you and your qualified pilot will be in the aircraft during your flight.
Spectators are welcome to see you off. You will need to sign for a visitors pass at the operators facilities. You'll need to sign an Acknowledgement of Conditions' form for flight in a limited category aircraft.
Minimum age is 6. You should be comfortable in the cockpit if you fit into a standard car seat. Unsuitable for pregnant women or anyone unable to climb into the open cockpit. Please consult with your doctor if you have a medical condition.
