For your Yarra Valley balloon flight, meet up with your pilot in the wee hours of the morning- about an hour and a half before sunrise.
After a briefing, you'll be taken to the launch site, where you can help prepare the hot air balloon for flight. This is optional - you can also stand back and watch, but either way, have your camera ready. Of course, you'll want to capture this unique process on film!
Once the balloon is ready, you'll step in, lift off and drift over the gorgeous Yarra Valley as it wakes.
During first light, you'll enjoy the area's beauty, with its rolling hills, the patchwork of vines, and surrounding mountains.
Hot air ballooning over the Yarra Valley has a unique feel in these early morning hours, and we'll soak it up.
Once the flight is complete, you can help pack away our beautiful balloon, or you can sit back and watch as it deflates. Then, with the balloon packed away, we return to where we began the morning.
Allow one hour for the ballooning ride and 3-4 hours in total.
Availability of this hot air ballooning adventure is dependent on the weather. You will find out the night before if your flight will go ahead.
Valid for one adult.
Bring a hat, extra socks and sunglasses. The burners can sometimes drip water mixed with carbon. The operator is not responsible for clothing that is stained or damaged as a part of the adventure activity.
Children under the age of 6 are not allowed on these hot-air ballooning adventures. You will be asked for your weight when booking.
