Hosted by Dominique Portet Winery, this experience is the perfect way to experience the best of what the Portets have to offer. Ninth-generation winemaker Dominique Portet, who chose the cool climate of Coldstream in the Yarra Valley as the home of his eponymous winery, founded in 2000, brings his extensive winemaking knowledge and history to the tour.
With roots in France dating back to the early 1700s, Dominique's winemaking story is rich with tradition and expertise. His search for the perfect grape-growing terroir in Australia led him to the Yarra Valley, where he found the ideal location to rival the terroir of his native Bordeaux.
During the tour, you'll enjoy a warm welcome from a Dominique Portet host, who will provide you with an overview of the estate's history, and then guide you through three wines matched with a selection of charcuterie, cheese and rustic baguette. The perfect match for rose. Sante!
