Have you ever wondered how restaurant cooking looks so - well, impressive? This three-hour course teaches you all the tricks of the trade to get you cooking – and presenting – chef style.
You start your class with an informal introduction to your chef and your classmates and then it's aprons on and straight to your workstations to learn the art of ‘culinary bling’.
You and your classmates will learn how to prepare, cook and present three separate dishes, which may include one of the following:
Braised duck with spiced carrot puree, home-smoked beetroot and maple salmon with crispy skin on a bed of pea and parmesan puree, nigella and rose petal lavash, onion Bhaji with spiced cauliflower puree, lavender pannacotta and caramel pear and ricotta tarts with spun sugar and vanilla gelato.
This is an easy, relaxed class in a friendly environment where you will learn, eat and laugh in equal measure, taking away with you not only great memories of the day but also the wherewithal to wow your friends with your chef-y culinary skills. You won’t be able to wait to check the diary and get the next dinner party booked in so you can show that you are the hostess (or host!) with the most-ess!
