This is a hands-on cooking experience where you'll prepare a 3-course meal using locally sourced fruits, herbs, seeds and animal sources such as Kakadu Plum, Quandong, Finger Lime, Wattleseed, Lemon Myrtle, Mountain Pepper, Bush Plums, Kangaroo, Fish. You'll learn about the fantastic value of local food to your health and the environment and discover its delicious culinary uses.
Join us for two and a half hours of hands-on cooking fun and social interaction. First, you'll receive a demonstration of your favourite Australian produce, and then it's time to start cooking. Finally, sit down and enjoy your creations with a glass of locally-made wine or beer.
Our menu features a Smoked Kangaroo Tenderloin or Lamb Racks with Taro and Beurre Rouge, Murray Cod or Barramundi Steamed in Banana Leaf, and Damper 'Flatbread' with Mountain Pepper, Bush Pesto and Goat's Cheese Dip.
