Clay pigeon shooting is a challenging sport that requires concentration and discipline to master. Russell Mark, Australian Olympic Gold Medalist and Lauryn Mark, Commonwealth Games Gold Medalist, know this too well. It's one of the reasons they have opened up the sport to small groups with this Clay Target Shooting experience.
You start the day with a welcome and introduction to the sport. A practice session follows, during which you can get used to the equipment and learn the basic skills of clay target shooting.
Prepare the stance, wait for the shout, follow the trajectory and squeeze the trigger. There are 10 targets to help you warm up.
When you are ready, there will be a 20-target fun competition in which you can shoot various targets, including singles and doubles.
Prove what a hotshot you are as you take on this clay pigeon shooting challenge. Will you go onto the leaderboard, shooting 20/20 and line up with a free session?
An expert instructor will be on hand to help guide you on your stance and hand positioning during the shooting.
Allow 2.5 hours at the venue. Sessions start at 9am but occasionally start at 12pm or 2.30pm.
Available once a month throughout the year on Saturdays.
Valid for one person.
No firearms license is required. No alcohol is to be consumed before or during the activity. A alcohol ZERO policy applies.
You must be at least 12 years of age to participate in this experience.
Lauryn was outstanding, not only is she an amazing teacher but she can have a laugh.

We had an excellent day at Go Shooting in Werribee with Russell Mark, Olympic champion After a thorough safety briefing and the chance to practise, a competition took place which was fun but hard fought Russell made the day with his great banter during the day and his motivating coaching. Highly recommended

I even enjoyed this experience with a broken foot. Easy going instructor, good enough instruction for me to successful even though I wasn't at my most comfortable.

Our instructor was easy going and gave easy to follow directions. Even with a slightly broken foot causing me some discomfort, I had a fantastic time and I hit quite a few targets. Because of COVID we had been waiting two years for the booking so despite my injury we went ahead.

If you're interested in clay shooting, this place was well-organised and professional. Instructors talked us through safety rules and gave personal instruction to everyone. A great day, but cold
