Set off on a brand new half-day escape to K'gari and see a wilder side of the island in comfort. This exclusive small-group tour keeps things personal, with flexible daily routing based on the conditions so you can make the most of the day.
Travel aboard a 9 metre amphibious Sealegs vessel designed for fast cruising and easy beach access. Along the way, you may visit Wathumba Creek, Awinya Creek and/or Bowarrady Creek, with time to walk, swim, snorkel and paddle board in clear water surrounded by pristine scenery.
Your guide will share stories and point out local wildlife such as dolphins, dingoes, turtles, sea eagles and tropical fish. The tour includes guided walks, morning tea, a light lunch and drinks throughout the day. During whale season, you can also upgrade to an optional half-day whale encounter at a discounted rate, with a seamless transfer back to the harbour.
This is a relaxed but active island experience for travellers who want more than a quick look. It is K'gari up close, with fewer people and more wow.
