Experience the best of both worlds as you prepare to skydive over the Great Barrier Reef and take in the breath-taking beauty of the coast, tropical rainforests and Cairns city.
You are greeted by our friendly staff before meeting your experienced tandem skydive instructor. Your instructor fits you with skydive pants and the latest technology harness and walks you through your skydive training for approximately 20 minutes.
You board the plane for your ride to height over the Great Barrier Reef taking in the breathtaking views of the coast. Onboard with the crew, feel your excitement building in anticipation. Finally, the plane's door opens, and your amazing skydive begins with an exhilarating rush of adrenalin!
You feel the air rushing past you in freefall as you fly back to earth at approximately 220km/hour. Then your canopy opens, and you return to the drop zone.
Allow 3 hours for the entire experience.
The tandem skydiving operates 7 days per week from 6.30am until dark, except on Christmas Day and New Years Day.
Valid for one person. Your briefing is shared with others.
Extra charge of $35 APF levy and admin fee apply and must be paid directly to the operators.
Free pick up from Cairns can be organized with the operator. Photos and DVD options are also available by contacting the operator.
Minimum age for sky diving is 16 years. People under the age of 18 years must have a guardian's consent and be accompanied throughout the briefing by a guardian. Maximum weight limit is 110kg. If over 95kgs weight surcharges apply.
