Jump into a 1940s flying trainer of the Chinese, Indian, North Korean Air Forces.
The aircraft is propelled by a 9 cylinder, supercharged radial engine, delivering 285hp through a variable pitch propeller. Typical cruise speeds are 130 knots or 230kph and the aircraft can fly at 160 knots or 290kph straight and level at full power.
Following a pre-flight briefing with your pilot you climb aboard and into the closed cockpit. With all the pre-flight checks complete, you depart from Parafield Airport skimming along the sea front out to Henley Jetty. Along the way, you can take in the views of Adelaide City and its beaches.
It's a great way to experience Adelaide's amazing scenery and all from the cockpit of a classic military warbird.
Allow 45 minutes with 30 minutes spent in the aircraft.
