At the beginning of the workshop, enjoy a talk and revel in insider secrets from a passionate chocolate maker. They'll share everything they know about the process so you know what works best.
Your chocolatier covers the initial processing steps of turning cocoa beans into a block of chocolate. Then the real fun begins; you begin to temper the chocolate and turn it into your chocolate delights.
Tempering is key to the chocolate-making process, helping make the final product look better and taste fresher. You'll learn various tempering techniques using only high-quality Belgian cocoa.
You'll make the filling, choose your flavour, and then pour it into moulds for a professional-looking chocolate. For decorating, use your creativity to give them a personal touch.
The class is a fun 4-hour class that is both informative and educational. The best part is the resulting chocolate, which may be too tempting to make it home.
The chocolate-making class runs for 4 hours.
This workshop takes place on selected days. 6 to 10 pm on weekdays (Wednesday, Thursday or Fridays) and 2 to 6 pm Saturdays. Bookings are essential.
Valid for 2 people. The workshop is conducted in small class sizes.
Please inform as at time of booking if there any dietary requirements to be taken into consideration, ie dairy, nuts, alcohol, etc.
The chocolate making workshop is suited to people over 14 years old. Children over 12 are welcome but must be accompanied by a paying adult.
