If you’ve ever wondered what it would be like to get very close to sharks, then this is your chance to experience the rush and excitement it creates.
With no previous scuba experience required, we teach you everything you need to know to dive with the sharks.
Before entering the water, you get to learn how to breathe underwater using the diving apparatus. It’s all conducted in a training tank with personalised tuition from our instructors.
Training over. It's time to meet the sharks!
The colony of grey nurse sharks range in size from 1 to 3 metres, and you're about to enter their domain in Shark Harbour.
During your 30-minute dive with the sharks, the diving instructors are with you all the way to help you get the most from your time in the deep.
Incredible underwater photos capture the moment you are face to face with the sharks. Will it be an authentic look of fun or an awkward smile of fear? No matter, those photos will bring back the memories of your adventure with the sharks.
With the dive over, warm up with a hot shower and join in for a debrief. You'll have the opportunity to see the photos of your dive, which are available for you to purchase.
Allow 2.5 hours with 30 exciting minutes spent in the tank with the sharks!
This experience is available all year round. Sessions run 3 or 4 times a day throughout the week.
Valid for one person. There are a maximum of 4 introductory divers per session.
You cannot fly nor consume alcohol within 12 hours before the dive. Medical restrictions apply as some conditions may prevent you from participating - asthma, epilepsy chronic sinus, diabetes, high blood pressure or ear problems.
All dives are available for people over the age of 14 years. 14 to 17-year-olds must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. You must be able to swim, speak fluent English and be in good health. Spectators receive a 20 per cent discount on entry.

At first it was kinda of scary when i saw the sharks and everything for the first time but once i met the instructor (experienced divers) and got into the water it wasnt that scary but it was a really great experience and it was probably even better for me cause i got to do it with my best friend. but i think its something everyone should do. id definately do it again. the people were great and i had heaps of fun swimming with sharks was an amazing experience :)

It was a very easy preparation, sometimes I thought too easy i felt I didn't have enough info. But in the end that is all I needed. The staff on the hotline were always very helpful and friendly. The staff at the Aquarium were great, they made me feel at ease. I thought the group number was just right I felt I was always given attention from our instructors who were great and help make the experience so much fun. I just loved the experience of diving with the Sharks at such a close proximity. Thank you very much for a great experience.

Shark diving experience was amazing, however I had been booked a certified divers experience, but was with a mixture of level ranging from no experience to experienced. Other than that the Sharks, Rays and turtles are amazing-felt very safe.
