This advanced car control course is perfect for drivers who wish to take their driving skills to the next level and have completed the level 1 defensive driving course. With advanced dynamic theory, highway speed emergency actions and evasive lane changes on the itinerary, this course helps turn the standard driver into a competent high-end road user.
Experience learning technical and advanced vehicle dynamics, and explore high-endvehicle control skills at the critical limit, but in a safe and non-threatening environment.
Youcover physical skills, seating, steering, vision, braking, accelerating, and transmission use during the course. In addition, you'll learn practical advanced vehicle dynamics, highway speed emergency braking, emergency corner braking in wet and dry conditions, evasive lane changes, vehicle stability control exercises on a split surface, under-steer and over-steering, emergency multiple direction changes and more.
It takes a lot of concentration and commitment right up to the last minute, and best of all, it's great fun!
This is a full day course, commencing at 8.30am and finishing at approximately 4pm.
The Advanced Car Control course is conducted approximately every 6 to8 weeks. It is usually held on a Saturday or Sunday. You must have completed the level 1 defensive driving course prior to taking this course.
Valid for one person. There are up to 10 people in the driving sessions and 20 in the classroom.
You are required to bring your own vehicle. You need to sign an indemnity form before participating in the practical component of the course.
Learners welcome, but must be accompanied by a fully licensed driver on the day.Please bring your license with you on the day.
