Dysart House in Kempton has been the home of Old Kempton Distillery since 2015. We produce a variety of spirits on-site, including single malt whisky, gin, liqueurs, and special releases, all made using 100% Tasmanian ingredients.
Your fully guided tour begins with a brief history of Dysart House and an overview of the distillation process. You go behind the scenes and visit our distillery and bond store. The bond store is filled with maturing whisky and barrels of various shapes and sizes. Ghost stories are also a part of the house's history, so keep your eyes open. Each tour is unique and provides an incredible opportunity to see how a distillery operates on a daily basis.
After your tour, you can relax in a beautiful Cask Lounge, located in the grand coaching inn that is the Old Kempton cellar door. Your tour concludes with a guided tasting of four Old Kempton Distillery products.
