Begin your half-day of rally driving at Walky Park, Steinfeld. Meet your instructors for the day and look over the different rally cars - the all-powerful 4WD Mitsubishi Evo and the Subaru STi.
You'll learn rally driving techniques that will help keep you safe and, most of all, coach you into achieving the most from your time behind the wheel. Time for the adrenalin to kick in?
From the moment you get behind the wheel, the grip, the acceleration and braking ability will amaze you. Learn to think well ahead before a turn is critical as you'll need to start some sideways action a good way before you would typically consider it. Your coach, a pro driver, will help you get used to it. And there's plenty of time with a minimum of 28 laps set on different layouts of the dirt circuit.
At the end of your drive, you're strapped into the co-drivers seat and taken for two championship pace hot laps by your coach.... hang on.
This rally driving experience lasts approximately half a day
Courses are held regularly. Check availability for details.
Valid for one person. The course is conducted in small group sizes.
A minimum P Plate license is required. Cars have a manual transmission, some have paddle shift. You can participate with limited manual experience. Guests are welcome. In-car video available on the day at extra cost.
Suitable for ages 17 to 90. Please advise at time of booking, any medical conditions that could affect the safety of you, the participant or others on the day. Max weight 130 kgs. Max height 6 foot and 4 inches, or 193cm.
The experience was for my son, he did the half day rally experience and the smile on his face at the end of the day said it all. He left wanting to buy a rally car , learn more and start competing. The drivers and other staff mostly do it for the love of the sport. They were so friendly and helpful. Wish Thrill Experience could help them more finacially to improve the venue and reward them more for their hard work and effort. I'm sure the executive's get paid handsomely while the volunteers eat dust and flies. Just be nice to see a bit of money go back to help improve the venue for the sport they love. My son is still raving about it.
