Arrive at the Western Australia paintballing facility at 9 in the morning. Suit up in first-class combat gear, including a combat suit, a full-helmet and goggles and body armour. You'll need your weapon, of course. It's the latest US-spec semi-automatic paintball marker with ammunition holder. There are 100 paintballs each to start your day.

Following your physical preparation, you and your friends join others for a briefingcovering the rules of play andsafety guidelines. If you've never played paintball before, the briefing includesa talk onbasic paintball techniques.

Now you're ready and your paintball day will begin.

There are a number of different courses, all based on Hollywood movies. You might have to rescue the fallen aircraft pilot in the Behind Enemy Lines course, or secure the priceless artefacts in the Tomb Raider course. Other courses include Escape from Guantanamo Bay, Bravo 4 Zero, Chemical Alley and more. Have fun!

Play continues even in the rain. All the game zones are in the outdoors, but the facility has areas that are sheltered and there are lockers in base camp where gear can be stowed in between games.

The paintballing day begins at 9 a.m. and ends at 4 p.m., following an awards ceremony.

Paintballing is available 7 days per week, throughout the year, subject to booking availability. We recommend you book at least 2 weeks ahead to avoid disappointment.

Valid for a full day of paintball for 10 people. You receive 100 paintballs each.

You may bring your own equipment, but the paintball center manager decides whether or not you can use your equipment instead of the facility equipment. You must buy paintballs at the centre and cannot bring your own gas cylinders.

The minimum age for paintballing is 12 years old in Western Australia.
