Sunrise Camel Ride

Feel the magic and serenity as you settle into a peaceful ride aboard our gentle camel caravan, the same mode of transport used by early outback pioneers. Forget about the hustle and bustle of everyday life, grab your camera and step into the past.

Ride through this magical land, situated in the volcanic crater of the Scenic Rim, with its fertile soils, beautiful spring water and spectacular views of Flinders Peak.

On the one-hour camel ride, you'll see Australian animals like kangaroos, birds, and, if you're lucky, koalas and other native wildlife. Some riders even reported seeing a platypus playing along the creek banks. 

On your return from your trek, enjoy a delicious breakfast and coffee in our Homestead Cafe and wander the Skincare and Souvenir shop for some camel milk products.
