Imagine the landscapes that greeted the first French balloonists in 1783. Or don't. Just experience it for yourself! Float majestically and effortlessly over the South East Queensland countryside. Take in breathtaking views of a diverse region as it blinks itself awake.

See the meandering Bremer and Brisbane Rivers and be stunned by the backdrops of the McPherson and D'Aguilar ranges. Get above Flinders Peak and Mounts Walker, Coot-tha and Tamborine. Hover over quaint country towns, Moreton Bay, Wivenhoe Dam, and the Fassifern and Lockyer valleys.

We transport you to our launch site from Ipswich and inflate the balloon. Feel free to join in as we prepare the balloon for launch. Then, with everything checked, we ascend gently above the mists of the earth.

Following our flight commentary, you'll discover where city and country meet. Lay your eyes on vast ranges of natural beauty. Pick up some history and culture. No matter your style of travel, you'll find something of interest!

Filled up with romantic scenes, we'll come back to earth. After deflating the balloon, breakfast follows. I hope you like bubbly because we'll have a restaurant champagne breakfast! We'll distribute commemorative flight certificates before taking you back.

Need to Know

Ballooning requires good weather conditions. The first 2-3 hours after sunrise are the most stable conditions for ballooning. If your flight is cancelled you can re-schedule for another date at no cost.

Allow 3 to 4 hours with 1 hour spent up in the skies.

Valid for one person.

Max weight 130 kg. If you have a medical condition and are planning to fly, it is best to check with your doctor. We cannot fly pregnant women. You must be able to embark and disembark a balloon basket unassisted.
