Product Details
Cruise offshore aboard Island Explorer to explore the Great Barrier Reef. Depart from Townsville or join the Magnetic Island pickup at Nelly Bay Ferry Terminal.
The crew selects reef locations based on weather, tides, and sea conditions. Spend approximately three to four hours at reef locations, combining snorkelling with optional breaks aboard. Reef sites, visibility and wildlife sightings vary and cannot be guaranteed.
Snorkelling mask, snorkel and fins are included, together with lunch and light afternoon tea.
Allow approximately eight hours from Townsville or seven and a half hours from Magnetic Island. This is an offshore boat trip, and conditions can be lively.
Need to Know
Reef sites, route and timing depend on weather, tides and sea conditions. The crew may alter plans for safety. If the operator cancels, contact the team about an alternative date or the applicable refund.
Approximately 8 hours from Townsville or 7.5 hours from Magnetic Island. Townsville check-in is 30 minutes early; island check-in is 15 minutes before pickup.
