Get up close to giant whales onboard the 75 foot Aussie Warrior vessel. The large open deck, complete with sun coverage, offers the best rail side views of these giant mammals.
Blue whales, humpback whales and sperm whales are just some of the species that are encountered on the tour.
We place a microphone just below the water line so you can hear the whales approaching and communicating with each other. Then all of a sudden, out of the water, a whale may offer a spectacular display. A whale breaching is a sight like no other.
Practically at water level, you can see the whales as they appear very close to the vessel. Jumping high out of the water and then slapping back down. Sometimes they twirl as they breach. It’s communication in action.
Eco tours don’t get better than this. Bring your camera, it’s a once in a lifetime adventure and an experience you never forget.
We depart at 9am and return between 12pm and 1pm.
Available during the whale season between 1st September and late November during Monday to Friday only.
Valid for one person, Monday to Friday only.
In the event no whales are sighted, for tours that occur between 1st September and 31st October the free trip must be redeemed during the current season. For other dates, the free trip can also be redeemed the following season.
Minimum age is 4 years old. A parent or guardian must accompany children aged 16 and under. Sea sickness tablets are recommended before your journey. These are available at pharmacists.
