Spend90 minutes up in the air in our iconic vintage Tiger Moth biplane.

It's a leisurely flying experience that never fails to deliver wonderful memories your family or friends will treasure for all time simply because it is an hour and a half in a Tiger Moth!

Departing from Lilydale airport, youll have fun getting the single-rotor propeller turning. Get to sniff the evocative fumes of the diesel. Settle yourself into the open cockpitand then up, up and away you go, heading south towards French Island and Phillip Island. Then, take in the sights of Mornington Peninsula and the Latrobe Valley. With low-level flying over magnificent coastal views at just 500 feet up in the air.

And, of course, you get to do it all dressed up in the authentic Tiger Moth flying gear of the 1930s, including a leather flight jacket, goggles, scarf and helmet.

This experience is affected by the weather. In the case of poor conditions, we will reschedule your experience for a later date.

Allow 2 hours for the experience with 90 minutes spent in the air.

Valid for one person.

Any changes made to bookings must be done at least 48 hours before the flight.

You must be 13 years old and over, weigh no more than 130kg and be under 200cm tall.

CASA Regulation for booking adventure flights

Military aircraft are built and tested to different standards than that put forward by CASA or any equivalent international civil aviation governing body. As such, in accordance with Civil Aviation Safety Regulation Parts 132.140, 132.150 and 132.155;

  • The design, manufacture and airworthiness of the aircraft are not required to meet any standard recognised by CASA; and
  • CASA does not require the aircraft to be operated to the same degree of safety as an aircraft used for regular public transport or charter operations; and
  • The passenger agrees to participate in this flight at his or her own risk; and
  • If it is reasonable to believe that a passenger cannot understand the safety briefing; said passenger must be accompanied on the flight by a parent, guardian, or carer; and
  • A detailed briefing will be provided to the passenger before they board the aircraft. This will include signing a liability waiver and acknowledgment of the briefing. If the passenger is under 18 years of age the waiver and acknowledgment must be signed by a parent, or legal guardian.
