  • Delightful views of the Yarra Valley at dusk
  • Experience retro flying in authentic 1930s flight jacket and goggles

This Tiger Moth evening patrol is a beautiful and splendid experience because it involves all the different components that make a biplane flight so amazing.

First, there’s the iconic aircraft itself. Built-in the 1930s by British aviation pioneer Geoffrey de Havilland specifically for RAF pilot training. It’s a plane that has a propeller that has to be turned by hand to get going!

Then there are the big "parachute" wings which provide the airborne excitement as it zigzags and drops to the sway of the wind. The open cockpit allows you to stick your head over the side to see the exhilarating views just as the sun is setting. Aspects that include Yarra Glen. Healesville. The Yarra River. Sugarloaf Reservoir. Steeles Hill. Warburton. Silvan. Mount Dandenong.

And no fight would be complete without the proper attire – which is why you will also get to don all the right gear. The leather flight jacket. The goggles. The helmet. The scarf.

This highly romantic Tiger Moth evening patrol will leave you thoroughly enchanted with thrilling memories to treasure forever.
