  • A notorious place of despair and overwhelming hopelessness
  • Walk in the footsteps of notorious Chopper Reed

  • Includes experience gift pack with personalised voucher and message card

Ruthless. Commanding. Severe. These words describe Pentridge Prison with its imposing bluestone walls and hard concrete floors.

Inside, you soon get the impression of a cold and damp place. It is bleak, and the air feels heavy, making it the perfect venue for a Ghost Tour that sends shivers up your spine.

You can walk in the footsteps of notorious Chopper Reed, discover the famous outlaw Ned Kelly's remains and learn about the final moments of Ronald Ryan, the last man executed in Australia in 1967.

With 44 bodies buried on-site and a who's who of Australia's criminal underworld calling Pentridge home, it's no wonder its past haunts the building.

Be confined at Pentridge Prison, home to Australia's most brutal and longest-serving prisoners. And you and your friend might find signs of a ghost or two. For there's many that have died here, and they weren't friendly at all.

The tour is not affected by the weather and is held mainly indoors.

Held in the evening at 7.30 and 9.30pm, the ghost tour runs for 2 hours.

Available throughout the year on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Valid for two people.

Minimum age 16 years.
