Led by a knowledgeable and passionate guide, start at Young Henry’s brewery at Newtown. Here you experience a complimentary drink and a tour of the brewery, with a chance to taste and feel the grains and hops used in the brewing process.
Next, visit The Henson at Marrickville for lunch with the options of the famous knuckle sandwich and a range of craft beers. Then move down the road to the Batch Brewing Company where you get to chat with the owners about how they started up brewing in a smash repair shop. The last official brewery stop is the excellent Rocks Brewing in Alexandria. Tour the state of the art brewery before trying a number of special brews that are the kinds of ales your grandfather and grandfather’s father used to drink.
