When you arrive at the skydiving facility, your tandem instructor walks you through everything that will happen before and during your skydive, from what to expect when you board the plane to the big jump, freefall and landing.
Your tandem instructor is a member of the Australian Parachute Federation and has completed 100s of jumps. So you know you're in safe hands.
Once properly suited, you practice exiting the plane. This is easy. Now comes the time for the nerves to kick in as you board the plane and head up into the air.
As you leave the airport, there's some fantastic scenery of the Yarra Valley below. At near jump altitude, the nerves are buzzing. Then, finally, it's time to make the big jump - a leap of faith.
Freefall for about 60 seconds. It feels like riding a big wave. Once you jump, the air will make your body feel light as you float through the sky.
Allow 3 hours. This includes time for your briefing, your jump and debriefing.
The centre is open all year round, seven days a week. If possible try to schedule your jump 2 weeks ahead, so that you can get the jump time you desire.
Valid for one person. Includes AFP fee.
Accommodations can be made for disabled people; call ahead to discuss.
Nobody under the age of 16 can jump. You must not weigh more than 100kg to jump and you should be physically fit
