For almost 50 years, the CT4 Airtrainer has been soaring above the Australian skies, performing training missions for pilots from the Royal Australian Air Force. It is an aircraft that has proved itself a worthy addition to any flying group and is the perfect choice for your next flying adventure.
With 30 minutes of total flying time, this is the kind of experience most people only ever dream of. Climbing aboard an aircraft as agile as the CT4, you know this is a scenic flight like no other. From the moment you leave the ground, its huge canopy is the perfect window to the world, as you soar into the skies above Point Cook and turn towards Williamstown and Station Pier.
With a top speed of 383kph and turns capable of 6G and -3G, this plane will make sure this is one experience you never forget.
Allow one hour with approximately 30 minutes in the aircraft from engine start to engine stop.
The experience is available all year round. We recommend booking at least two to three weeks in advance.
Valid for one person. Only you and your qualified pilot will be in the aircraft during your flight.
Spectators are welcome to see you off. You will need to sign for a visitors pass at the operators facilities. You'll need to sign an Acknowledgement of Conditions' form for flight in a limited category aircraft.
Minimum age is 6. Max height 6 foot 3 inches and weight 110kg. If you fit into a standard car seat you should be comfortable in the cockpit. Unsuitable for pregnant women. The aircraft is capable of abrupt movement. We recommend you obtain medical advice if you have a prevailing condition.
