Begin your flying experience with a briefing covering all the information you need to know about the YAK 52 aircraft including the safety features of the aircraft. You'll chat through any specific requirements with your instructor so that the flight can be tailored just for you.
Before you are secured into the plane, there's time for a photo shoot with friends and family. Now it's time to take flight!
Depending on how you have tailored the flight and the local weather, you will get airborne to the east, west or north of the airport.
You'll start low at 500 feet above the ground and level off as you fly under radar in search of installations and military airfields. After all, this is a reconnaissance mission... got to keep the aircraft low. At this height you'll feel that the ground is moving fast but its high enough for you to still enjoy the Hunter Valley and the Central Coast below.
Allow 1 hour at the aircraft with 25 minutes spent in the air.

Friends and family are welcome to listen in and take part in your briefing as well as take some time to have photos taken with the aircraft.
Max height is 6 foot 3 inches and weight 110kg. If you fit into a standard car seat you should be comfortable in the cockpit. Unsuitable for pregnant women.
