A 4-day intermediate sailing course is a great way to learn this exciting sport. Learn the basics of sailing, starting with the essential safety, weather and boating skills.
More advanced skills and techniques are gradually introduced as you progress through the course.
Areas covered also include essential clothing and equipment selection, sail a triangular course, sailing terminology, boat launch and recovery and launching in shallow water.
Includes insurance, Yachting Association fees and Sailing Club membership so by the end of the course you will be ready to start racing.
The course runs for 4 days, commencing 10 am or 1pm each day.
This intermediate sailing course is available throughout the year, 7 days per week.
Valid for one person. Class sizes vary.
After the completion of the course we recommend practice on the water to refine your skills.
Suitable for adults 18 years and over. You should have good general fitness.
