This exhilarating canyoning experience is the perfect treat for the thrill seeker.
During the Winter months between May and September, you can transverse Tigersnake Canyon. Tigersnake is a very narrow canyon with several long abseils and some wet, wading areas.
There's half an hour of walking through the Wollemi National Park where you catch breath to begin the canyon, a small slot in the ground, barely 1 metre wide. Here you can abseil into the canyon, with a pool of winter water waiting for you.
Another short abseil and downclimb and you arrive at the first long abseil that's right next to a waterfall.
The Canyon opens out into rainforest. You then reach the next big drop, another long abseil but this time into the dark, sliding between two Canyon walls that are 2 metres apart.
The entire trip through this Canyon is a thrilling experience. We stop for lunch then prepare for the 1 hour exit.
You should allow approximately 7 hours from 9am to 4pm.
Available daily throughout the Winter months excluding public holidays.
Voucher is valid for one person. Your experience is conducted in small groups.
Suitable for adults. A good level of fitness is required to participate but no previous experience is necessary. You should advise us if you have asthma or a previous injury that may affect your enjoyment of this experience.
