A 2-hour fin-tastic adventure on the largest pontoon in Southern Australia. Mooredon the clean waters of Encounter Bay, it’s the perfect location to experience Southern Bluefin Tuna whipping past you.
You begin your adventure on board our high speed 70 seat catamaran and set off to the tuna pontoon sheltered in the lee of Granite Bay. Along the way, you may spot playful dolphins.
You arrive at the Tuna pontoon, home to a fishtropolis of fish. 60 Southern Bluefin Tuna, plus tonnes of local fish from Snapper, Trevally, Mulloway, Morwong and Seahorse.
There are many activities you can do on the pontoon.
You can hand-feed the Southern Bluefin Tuna from a platform that gets you right up to the tuna without getting you too wet.
Diving with the tuna is a favourite. The fast-swimming tuna swim around you in every direction.
Pat and tickle the one of the most stunning fish in our waters – the Blue Morwong. They enjoy their daily tummy tickle.
You can watch our local array of fish from an underwater observatory. You won’t get wet, and the feeding frenzy is a fantastic sight - tuna whizz by at lightning speed in the background.
An interactive Touch Pond is a place to hold a sea urchin, see scallops swim, watch squid camouflage themselves and lots more.
