Try your hand at sea kayaking with a journey in and around the vibrant seaside town of Williamstown. This full day adventure is suitable for the novice and offers a unique perspective of the city.
- Your qualified guide will introduce you to the kayak and safety gear.
- Try your hand at a dry capsize drill, warm up and pair up with your kayak partner for the day.
- Learn the basic strokes for 30 to 60 minutes before setting off in a group tour around Williamstown.

Experience adventure and tranquilityon a kayak tour of Williamstown, a vibrant sea side town that's steeped in history.
Observe cargo ships, paddle among yachts and jetties while ferries and sea planes hustle in and out of this port. Your options include paddling under the West Gate Bridge, paddling over the channel to Sandridge Beach or paddling along the protected waters of Williamstown foreshore.
Whatever you choose, you'll get a taste for what sea kayaking is all about without travelling too far out of town. To top off a wonderful half day out, the tour includes Fish and Chips for lunch. It's just what the intrepid kayaker needs.
The tour commences 10 am and concludes at 1:30pm.
Tours operate every day of the year, subject to demand. Our busiest times include weekends and the hotter months between October and April.
Voucher valid for one person. There will be a minimum of 4 and maximum of 12 people on the trip.
You'll be required to sign an indemnity form and complete a medical questionnaire prior to participating in the experience.
You must be at least 14 years of age and have a reasonable level of fitness. You should be confident in and around water and you should be able to swim at least 50m. This experience is not suitable if you have a bad back, broken bones, wrist or shoulder injuries.
