Your Maritime Strike Mission will involve a guided tour of the L-39 Jet Fighter, full mission brief including mission orders and flight safety briefing. In full military helmet and flight suit you'll climb aboard your Fighter Jet. Your pilot helps strap you in and secure your cockpit while involving you in the final brief. You'll follow through start procedures - feel the awe of jet spool up! Then complete the checklist and taxi for take off. Get yourself ready to launch - 4000 pounds of pure jet thrust will propel you into the atmosphere - feel the surge produced by 106% power! You will be blasting along at speeds of up to 910km per hour in the sleekest and most modern Jet Fighter conducting adventure flights in Australia. You commence with "G" warm manoeuvres then move on to "taste and feel" the amazing high performance of the L-39 Albatros Fighter Jet. Barrel rolls, loops and more.
If the weather is unsuitable for flying the operator will contact you as early as possible in the morning if the decision has not been made the day prior on the day of your flight.
Allow 2 hours for the full experience. 35 minutes will be spent in the air.
This experience is available all year round subject to prevailing weather conditions.
This experience is one on one with your pilot who has over 30 years flying experience. A normal breakfast or lunch prior to your flight is recommended. We do advise to avoid fruit juice and to keep the alcohol to a minimum the night before You should be in generally good health. You will also need to be normally mobile and agile enough to climb up into cockpits and lift your legs and bend your knees etc. You should advise the operator if you have heart disease, hypertension or diabetes.

CASA Regulation for booking adventure flights

Military aircraft are built and tested to different standards than that put forward by CASA or any equivalent international civil aviation governing body. As such, in accordance with Civil Aviation Safety Regulation Parts 132.140, 132.150 and 132.155;

  • The design, manufacture and airworthiness of the aircraft are not required to meet any standard recognised by CASA; and
  • CASA does not require the aircraft to be operated to the same degree of safety as an aircraft used for regular public transport or charter operations; and
  • The passenger agrees to participate in this flight at his or her own risk; and
  • If it is reasonable to believe that a passenger cannot understand the safety briefing; said passenger must be accompanied on the flight by a parent, guardian, or carer; and
  • A detailed briefing will be provided to the passenger before they board the aircraft. This will include signing a liability waiver and acknowledgment of the briefing. If the passenger is under 18 years of age the waiver and acknowledgment must be signed by a parent, or legal guardian.
