Heading in a Northwest direction you pass over the fishing village of Rhyll, onto Cowes over the jetty and the beach. At Cowes with a push of the stick to the left, set your sights for the Mornington Peninsula.
Flying over the bay, soon you emerge at Red Hill and its famous winery region. There's Arthurs Seat and Port Phillip Bay. With incredible views of the bay out the front window, you turn towards the south and head for the township of Sorrento passing some of the popular seaside towns such as Dromana, Rosebud and Rye.
Sorrento surf beach is followed with a coastal flight towards Cape Schank. On your return to the heliport, you can view Seal Rocks, Summerland Bay and the Penguin Parade, Pyramid Rock and the Grand Prix Circuit.
Throughout the flight, the scenery down below is magnificent and easily makes for some of the best photo opportunities you can imagine.
