Departing from Gold Coast Airport, your helicopter climbs and tracks south to the beautiful Tweed River. Here you can take in the fantastic views south down to Byron Bay and north along the beautiful sun-kissed Gold Coast beaches to Surfers Paradise.
Track out over to Cook Island marine reserve, a protected marine park discovered by “Captain James Cook” a famous English navigator in 1770, who named the Island “Cook Island” after nearly being shipwrecked in the area.
This marine park is home to a vast array of marine animals such as Dolphins, turtles, sharks and even whales during whale season. Make sure you have your camera ready!
We descend at Fingal Headland, rush North along the magnificent beaches, watching the local surfers at the famous Snapper Rocks, home of the “Quick Silver Pro” surfing contest, Kirra Beach and up to Bilinga, before banking the helicopter left and heading back home to Coolangatta.
