An introduction to the unmodified Formula Ford Spirit or Van Diemen race cars begins your racing experience.
You get two orientation laps with an instructorto gain valuable insights into the Sydney Motorsport circuit, its apexes, straights and braking points. During the session, you have access to a professional Formula Ford racing driver who can help guide you to ensure you get the most out of the experience.
With the orientation session complete, you climb behind the wheel of the Formula Ford. Strapped into the open cockpit with a full 6-point harness and a quick-release steering wheel, its time to drive for a ten-lap session of the corporate hill section of the south circuit, one of Australias premier race tracks.
Feel the super responsive race car react to every tiny adjustment you make as you sweep through corners pulling loads of up to 2Gs. There are no rev-limiters so you can drive the vehicle to the limits - 0-100kph in 3.8 seconds.

Available throughout the year, subject toavailability. Session run from 8am, 10am, 12pm, 2pm. We may also run twilight sessions from November to February at 4 pm.
Valid for one person.
When you are driving, you are responsible for any damage done to the vehicle. You must hold a minimum of a P standard driving license and be able to confidently use a manual gearbox.
Minimum age 16 years.Maximum weight 120kg.Maximum height 196cm. Minimum height 155cm. Not suitable for pregnant women and those suffering from certain medical conditions.
One of the best experiences I have done a number of heart thumping trills before, but this one is amongst the best fun I have ever had. The staff were professional and patient. A single seat formula race car chance of a life time. Fast, safe and satisfying. Still smiling days after the day. Would recommend to anyone who wants to experience what the professionals race drivers do for a living. I think this is far better than the V8 Supercar experience.

Enjoyed the day very much. Will go again. I think the second time will be even more enjoyable than the first. It was cold and the track still had some wet patches the day I went. Would like to go again in warmer weather.

What a rush! The Formula Ford driving experience was incredible. I loved the adrenaline rush and the power of the car. Definitely a must-do for any car enthusiast.
