Start off in the exciting world of Formula Ford motorsport with a 5 lap experience of Tasmania's Baskerville Raceway. It's a perfect introduction to driving a fully fledged racing car that out performs a Porsche 911 GT3 RS and even a V8 supercar.
Your day begins learning how to operate the controls of this single-seater open-wheel racing car. Try out the lay-back driving position, the stubby, right hand 4 speed gearshift and the non-synchromesh down-changing technique.
Then it's onto the circuit in a standard road car to get real insights on the raceway, the racing lines, apexes and braking markers.
Instructors are with you every way. And when you are ready, climb behind the wheel of the Formula Ford and prepare to test your skills.
The racing car has a 1800cc Zetec engine mated to a Hewland racing transmission and Formula specification clutch and flywheel. It's all yours to enjoy for 5 laps.
Enjoy the sensations of driving the car for the first time. Test your skills and revel in the exhilaration of driving on a real race track in a real race car.
Drive for 5 laps and feel what it's like to be a racing driver with the tight surround of an open cockpit, a super sensitive gearstick and the track just millimetres below.
Allow up to three hours for the entire experience.

Voucher valid for one person. There up to 20 people per group and up to 4 cars on the track at any one time.
You must hold a minimum of a current P Plate license and be able to drive a manual gearbox.
You are required to sign an indemnity and waiver form as a condition of participating. All drivers are liable for any damage done to the race car.
You must weigh less than 120kg and be under 192cm tall. Not suitable for drivers that are pregnant. If you are concerned about the impact of high speed driving, we recommend you consult a doctor. You must have a 0pc blood alcohol level.
