Begin your Formula Ford day learning how to operate the controls of this single-seater Zetec racing car. You'll cover the lay-back driving position, the stubby, right hand 4 speed gearshift and the non-synchromesh down-changing technique.
Then its onto the circuit in a road car to learn about the raceway, the racing lines, apexes and braking markers.
After the instruction is over, it's time to enjoy the sensations of driving an open-wheel racing car for the first time, guided by your instructors.
Drive for 5 laps and feel what it's like to be a racing driver with the tight surround of an open cockpit, a super sensitive gear stick and the track just centimetres below.
Allow up to three hours for the entire experience.

Voucher valid for one person. There up to 20 people per group and up to 4 cars on the track at any one time.
You must hold a minimum of a current P Plate licence and be able to drive a manual gearbox. You are required to sign an indemnity form as a condition of participating. Bring your drivers licence on the day.
You must weigh less than 120kg and be under 192cm tall. Not suitable for drivers that are pregnant. If you are concerned about the impact of high speed driving, we recommend you consult a doctor. You must have a 0 blood alcohol level.
All staff from booking to experience were most helpful and nice.But waiting 3 hours outside in the cold, rain and wind ruined the experience.I think 18 people for 3 cars was way too much.The sessions should be cancelled in case of rain or only organized in summer.
