Ever wondered what it might feel like to share a tank with a shark or two, or three? Imagine you are there. The rush, the excitement, the fear you feel. Well, this one has it all.
It begins with a Tunnel Tour where you meet the sharks from a distance and learn first-hand about their anatomy, their senses, behaviour and natural habitat.
With no previous SCUBA experience required, we teach you everything you need to know to dive with the sharks starting with a briefing on SCUBA equipment and the safety aspects from one of our expert instructors.
Before entering the water, you get to learn how to breathe underwater using the diving apparatus. It’s all conducted in a training tank with personalized tuition from our instructors.
With the training complete, it’s time to swim with the sharks. Talk about an underwater adventure!
During your 30-minute dive, your safety is the number one priority. The diving instructors are with you all the way to help you get the most from your time in the deep.
Sensational underwater photos capture the moment you are face to face with the 3.5 meter sharks. Will it be an authentic look of fun or an awkward smile of fear?
Allow approximately 2.5 hours with 30 exciting minutes spent in the Oceanarium tank with the sharks!
Available all year round during Monday to Friday only. Sessions run 3 or 4 times a day throughout the week.
There are a maximum of 4 introductory divers or 5 certified divers per session.
You cannot fly within 12 hours after the dive. Do not drink alcohol 12 hours before your dive. Medical restrictions apply as some conditions may prevent you from participating in the dive such as asthma, epilepsy chronic sinus or ear problems.
All dives are available for people over the age of 14 years. 14 to 17 year olds must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. You must be able to swim, speak fluent english and be in good health. Spectators receive a 20 percent discount on entry.
